11.04惹的祸

刚开始我是按照下面的网页的方法安装的：

安装完之后，我
/usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl start 来启动，，提示说什么apache-common没有安装吧。。。
那我就 用它提示的sudo安装了...

后来我又按照http://forum.ubuntu.org.cn/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=201981网页里的方法安装
即sudo apt-get install apache2

现在我想知道，，这两种方法，会不会造成冲突？？
apachectl是什么，是个服务吗，我service apachectl status 得到apachectl: unrecognized service

bells@bells:~$ sudo /usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl start

bells@bells:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 start

如果我想把我用第一种方法，即编译安装的方式给删除掉，该怎么办??

以前玩lamp的时候是在新立得里把apache ,mysql 和php一起装了的
